In His Steps International Missions is a
non-profit ministry that is totally funded by the donations of
our Ministry Partners. Through faith, we depend on God to
supply our needs by moving in the hearts of "His people" to help
us answer "His call."
A Greeting From Our US Office
What is a US contact? A board member, of a US based international ministry that lives in the US and is recognized by the IRS to handle the US correspondence, especially in regards to the government.
Greetings from Virginia. It is a privilege for me to be the US contact for In His Steps International Missions that is US based in Amelia, VA. My responsibility is to see that we are in compliance with government regulations and that necessary forms are completed correctly and returned promptly.
At this time, I am also responsible for the coordination of the US office, which has many duties. Some of our tasks are handling all correspondence through US mail, email and telephone, fundraising, preparing mission trip forms, bookkeeping, assisting the accountant and missionary payroll. We also prepare the agenda, financial reports, and record minutes and attend all board meetings.
Although, my responsibilities are great, the rewards are much greater. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to be an instrument that our Lord is using to carry the “Good News” to Guatemala. This summer, I received a huge reward.
I had the awesome privilege of being a part of a short-term mission trip to Guatemala. We were able to join with a local church there and hold Bible school and a puppet show in three different remote mountain villages. In each village, we were able to show an evangelistic film in their native language of Kekchi.
I was able to see the fruits of the many people that make up the ministry of In His Steps International Missions. Many of you have sacrificed your time and your money so that God’ love can continue to be shown in a part of the world that needs Him so desperately. I can assure you that we are making a difference.
