In November 2001, I was commissioned and sent out from my home church in Amelia, VA to Zacapa, Guatemala. It was a great privilege to serve on a mountain ministry team where God made the way for us to build churches and pastor’s homes, work with teams in medical clinics, construction projects, Bible schools, door-to-door visits and revival services. I saw many lives changed.
In 2004 I truly did not know what I was getting into when God asked us to start In His Steps International Missions. All I knew is that it would require an even greater dependence on Him. Spiritually, we have been plowing up old ground, cultivating it and sowing seed. It was recently revealed to us that He has been using the last five years to help us grow roots and we are beginning to see a great harvest. It is amazing to invest time in young people’s lives and watch Him mold and shape them.
We are seeing doors open daily that will allow us to go deeper into this ministry and call, but we can’t do it alone! I would like to invite you to seek God and ask Him how He would have you be a part of this exciting organization.
