In April we teamed up with our friends from Sharing The Journey International (STJI) to host a surgical mission team in rural Alta Verapaz Guatemala! The team was a huge success & about 30 cleft lip & palate surgeries we performed. And most importantly the genuine love that this group displayed changed lives in Guatemala.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone that helped with the IHSIM 2010 Fall Yard Sale that was held on Saturday, October 2nd in Amelia, VA. Thanks also to our Facebook friends for their thoughts and prayers. We appreciate the donated items that were given for the sale and the financial contributions too.

It was a great success! A few days before while we were making preparations, we received some much needed rain. At times it looked doubtful that the heavy rain would be gone but it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful fall day! We are making plans to have our next yard sale on Saturday, June 4, 2011.
