"Maximum Mission" Sipacate, Escuintla Nov 27 – Dec 1, 2006

In most Latin America countries, the school year ends the last week of October. The months of November and December are spent enjoying family time and for vacations. A “Maximum Mission” in Sipacate, Escuintla was planned for this time of year to allow more church members an opportunity to be involved.

On November 27 at 3:00am, our forty member team set-out on a nine hour journey to Sipacate which is located on Guatemala’s southern coastline (Pacific Ocean). We planed to hit this area hard with the Gospel message and allow the love of Jesus to shine through our actions.
Many strategic methods were used to bless the people in this area. Activities were planned for medical, children and community outreaches. Also, personal evangelism was carried out throughout the entire event in every way imaginable.
Many lives were changed when they responded to Lord as He made Himself real to them. The fruits, of this outreach effort, were very evident and a mission church was established. The initial congregation will be made up of about forty local residents. Please keep Pastor Juan and the new mission in your prayers as they are challenged by many strongholds in this region. We know that the chains will be broken as the people continue to seek the face of the Lord!

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. - Gal. 2:20
