In His Steps International Missions is a
non-profit ministry that is totally funded by the donations of
our Ministry Partners. Through faith, we depend on God to
supply our needs by moving in the hearts of "His people" to help
us answer "His call."
Hard Work Pays Off

At the end of last year, the leaders of the young adult group were planning a retreat. They became stressed when they realized it would be necessary to charge a lot for each person and not many would be able to attend. Maribel and I told them that it would not have been necessary if they had worked diligently throughout the year to
raise funds. They could have raised most of the money for the expenses and only charged a minimal amount for each person. Since We started as the leadership council, we have tried to instill in them, an appreciation for hard work.
On March 12-16, 2008, an annual convention was held at their church in Coban. They took advantage of the opportunity and planned two different fundraisers. The first three days of the convention they washed cars for the people attending and on Saturday and Sunday they sold meals and snacks. This lesson has proven to be very fruitful and the group is saving the money that was raised for the activities in 2008. Please continue to keep the young adult group in your prayers.
