Sports Ministry is a USA based organization that has traveled
extensively
in the US and to many foreign counties. We had the privilege of
partnering with them for two training seminars that were held in
Guatemala City. Pastors and ministry leaders from different regions of
Guatemala were invited to attend.
The purpose of the training was to teach the Guatemalans to use Bible
based soccer camps to reach more children for Jesus. | |
The neat thing about this training
event as that not only did they learn theory in the classroom but
they also learned the camp drills. In the afternoons they put into
practice what they learned by holding actual soccer camps in poor
neighborhoods in Guatemala City. | |

Carlos Morales, my assistant and I were there for the
entire week (both sessions).
Carlos recorded video footage and took pictures while I served as the
translator
for both of the American expositors. Check out an awesome

afternoon soccer camps. Pay close attention to the end of the video. You
will see a Guatemalan ministry leader leading several children to repeat
the sinner's prayer after the Gospel was shared with them. Praise the
Lord!
