Internships in Guatemala

Welcome to our Internship program. We are excited about how God will use you and your interest in Guatemala to increase His Kingdom. Our program is set-up to be flexible and work with your availability. We allow you to determine your length of stay. The cost for the program will be dependent on your duration here in Guatemala. Send us an email to make your arrangements and determine the cost.

Training

Once you get settled in, your first week includes a 5 day training program. This program includes Spanish lessons, culture etc.

Meet & Greet

You will be introduced to several people that have been a part of In His Steps, pastors, Guatemalan volunteers, the Rice family and Rodrigo who is Steven’s right hand man.

One-on-One Ministry

You will work one-on-one with our missionary. You will visit mountain villages, meet with pastors, visit with the youth of Guatemala and help with the Extreme Sports Ministry, meet the Guatemalan people, help with cell groups, be the photographer during ministries & outreach programs, be emerged in Spanish speaking conversations, prepare for short-term mission teams to arrive by assisting with team schedules, setting up accommodations, helping with meals, help Steven serve the short-term mission teams, set-up equipment & work with sound equipment and many more exciting adventures. Be flexible and ready to do a variety of work for the Lord.

Office Assistant

Depending on your skill base, you would basically help with minor clerical duties.
